How to Use Custom Pet Stickers in iMessage
Send a finished pet PNG as an image in Messages, or use Photos to make a native sticker you can reuse. Saving a PNG to your iPhone leaves it in Photos or Files until you take another step.
Start with a saved pet image ↓Send the finished artwork as an image
Send the finished image to keep any lettering or details outside the pet’s outline.
- In Apple Mail, touch and hold the attachment and choose Save Image for Photos. Choose Save to Files if you want to keep the original file handy.
- In a Messages conversation, tap +, choose Photos, and select the saved image. Preview it, then send it like any photo.
Make a reusable sticker from a pet photo
- Open a photo in Photos. Press and hold the pet until the subject lifts, release, then choose Add Sticker.
- Open the conversation in Messages. Tap +, then Stickers, and find the cutout among your photo stickers.
- Tap the sticker to insert it into the conversation and send it. To place it on a message, drag the sticker from the drawer onto the message bubble.
When Photos can’t lift the subject
Try a clearer photo with the whole pet in view. Apple’s cutout can leave out lettering or parts of illustrated artwork. If you need to keep those details, send the finished design as an image. If the sticker controls are missing, check the Apple guide for your iOS version and device.

Ask about static pet artwork
Petveris can discuss a custom digital set by email, typically as transparent PNG files. Use the image or photo-sticker route on your iPhone. Petveris has no Messages sticker app or automatic import.
