How to Make a Telegram Sticker Pack from Pet Photos

Make a sticker from a pet photo in Telegram’s editor, or upload prepared artwork to the official @Stickers bot. You’ll need a Telegram account, an image you can use, and an emoji for each reaction.

Choose how to build your pack ↓

Choose the editor or the bot

Use the editor for a photo

  1. Open the sticker panel in a chat, tap the plus button, and choose a photo.
  2. Use the cutout tool if you want to remove the background. Check the ears and whiskers in the preview and restore edges if needed.
  3. When saving to a set, choose an emoji that matches the emotion, then add the sticker to a new or existing set.

Use @Stickers for prepared artwork

  1. Open Telegram’s official @Stickers bot and follow its prompts to create a static pack or manage one you own.
  2. Upload the transparent PNG or WebP as a file when prompted so it keeps its format. Assign at least one emoji per image.
  3. Follow the remaining prompts to publish the pack and get its share link.

Share the set and check rejected files

Send a sticker from the finished pack. The recipient can tap it to see and add the set. You can also copy the set’s Telegram link from its share controls or use the t.me/addstickers/… link returned by the bot.

  • Size error. Resize the long edge to 512 px and keep the original proportions. Export under 512 KB if you’re near the limit.
  • Solid background. Check that the exported file still has transparency. Renaming a JPEG to PNG leaves the original format unchanged.
  • Emoji prompt. Choose an emotion that fits the sticker, such as 😴 for a sleepy pet, so Telegram can suggest it in chats.
